The entrance of the Mine Paola is situated at 1265 meters. The track inside the gallery begins with 100 meters' walk to reach the departure station of the little train. This first stretch is rather wide and straight. Further on the gallery narrows and on the left it will be easily visible the first yards from which the talc was extracted.

Before climbing into the carriage, however, we enter the Well area, so called owing to a vertical shaft containing a freight elevator that connects the Paola with the other three galleries in the inferior part.

The whole of the talc mined from any level, was carried to the level Gianna from which it poured out.
