An interactive visit to Valentì Masachs Museum

The display on the right is devoted to the uranium oxides and it is made up of 9 minerals coming from Africa, Europe, Canada and Brazil. The radiations medical uses are emphasized, the isotope Co60 is used in fact in the treatment of the tumours while the x rays are used to take radiographies useful to identify and treat illnesses.
