Sparky is a Strawberry Roan Mixed Breed Pony.
He is 1.2 m height (12 hands) and was born in 1971. He worked at Ellington Colliery, Northumberland, for 13 years, moving materials and salvage work.
Sparky came to live at NCMME in 1988. Not renowned for his patience, he has a special kick for his stall door when it is time to go back to the field.
