Colonel is a Bay Roan Shire.

He is 1.7 m height (17 hands and 3 inches) and was born on the 5th June 1988.

He has never worked in a coal mine but horses of this size are known to have worked underground in the main roadways at the pit bottom.

The Museum's gentle giant craves attention and certainly gets it! He definitely likes to pose and envies Carl's 'showbiz' experience!
