The terminal part of the hoppers is made safer by a fastening system. Initially the opening of the pipe was made through a pulley and a steel cable, in the last years it was, on the contrary regulated by a compressed air system. Normally the hoppers were two, one for the white talc and one for the grey talc, since the miners already operated a first selection in the yard.
