The Populonia bay is one of the most beautiful landascapes in Italy, a perfect fusion of nature and history. The Baratti Gulf and the Populonia cape have always attracted the man: from the Paleolitic period, the man never abandoned this area. Nowadays in this area there is the Archaeological Park of Baratti and Populonia (close to Piombino, into the Livorno Province, Tuscany). The Park tells us about the story of the Etruscans, dynamic people who left and important trace on this territory. Let's discover their history by visiting their remnants.
