The Long Journey of a Steam Shovel

The steam shovel Bucyrus is one of the most important pieces of the collection of the Museum de las Minas de Cercs, situated in the mining town of Sant Corneli (Cercs, province of Barcellona). It occupies an important space in the center of the plaza St. Roman, an ancient escombrera of the mine that brought the same name, in front of the museum and the mining town. From November 1998 it welcomes to the visitors of the museum and the mining town.
