Fred’s lunch by Matthew

I Mabel was in the Kitchen still listening to the wireless while Harold and his Dad were running home to tell her that Fred was staying at home for Lunch. Harold and his Dad walked through the front door and shouted "We're home!"
"Oh hello Fred, I thought you were eating at your work!" said Mabel
"No, no I told you this morning!" smirked Fred
"Oh I remember now," laughed Mabel
"So I went down to the mine for nothing!" said Harold
"To tell you the truth son I thought I was having it there till I remembered!" laughed Fred
