"Er...I was looking at dad's old snap tin!" Harold said quickly. "Ok then, go and lake with your friends out on the street!" Harold walked off worrying about the rug. Mabel walked back inside the house because the sun had gone in. Inside she looked at her ration book. She didn't have much left to get for the week so she rubbed out some of the pencil marks and put the ration book in her bag ready to go to the butchers and the groceries. "Harold, Elsie it is time to go to the shops for tomorrow!" I shouted.
Mabel, Harold and Elsie walked out of the the back yard and down the street to the butchers.
