I knitted Harold a nice, cosy jersey to wear from the rags we had from the cupboard. The colours were red And blue, his favorite colours. It was knitted in a summer theme to blend in with the time of year. His friends had a bit of a girly giggle but they eventually got used to it. Elsie, on the other hand got Harold A Flat Cap Out Of Her Ration Tokens. I Thought That Was Very Generous Of Elsie To Give Up Some Of Her Own Tokens When She Could Have Made Him Something.
