The man that looked after the ponies was very nice and gave each of them a horse shoe as a birthday present. He offered them a ride but Fred got concerned and said that they couldn't because they were too young although they werent too young, he was just saying that because he was looking after two children that werent his own. Harold got two as it was his birthday. They were old ones anyway and the pony keeper was going to chuck the horse shoes.
