Sunday had finally come , Elsie and her mother could listen to the wireless. One of there favourites on the wireless was 'The Ovaltinies',which was on a Sunday tea time.
The wireless was powered by an accumulator. When it ran out Harold had to go and get a new accumulator which cost round about a six pence.
