Things were rashoned and so were sweets which Elsie and Harold used to get every Monday evening.Their favourite sweets were humbugs,and if they wanted more sweets they would get the milk and dryed bread and would rub them out and then get some more sweets. This would happen on everything else if they would like some more of anything.
