Alice's Island - Stories of migration

Introduzione

The project will focus on the migration phenomenons that took place during last century (for economic, war or other reasons). Its objectives are, on one hand to strenghten the memory of past migrations: the sacrifices and the hard work of many people, the poorness, the racism, but also new life perspectives, the enrichment of the immigration countries and at least the integration into the new context. On the other hand, a better knowledge, especially between the younger people, of the actual migration phenomenons. Some countries that in the past were emigration countries now recieve people coming from other parts of the world. A comparison between past and actual migration could led to a deeper comprehension and acceptance of the actual migrants.
