The Mineralogic Museum: a precious vein of knowledge

The minerals of the Museum collection are grouped into four big categories: minerals from the Zorzone area, minerals from other deposits of the Bergamo area, minerals coming from the rest of Italy and minerals coming from other parts of the world. In total there are more than 2600 items belonging to almost 200 mineralogic species. Carbonates, silicates, oxides and hydroxides, sulphides, sulphates represent almost 90% of the whole collection.
